Little data,
a single purpose.
We process your data only to reply to you.
No marketing, no profiling, no lists.
This notice covers the data you leave us when you write through the contact form or to the site's email address. It is drafted pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data controller
The controller is Scala Core S.r.l., registered office at Via Alberto Mario 9b, 00152 Rome (RM), Italy, VAT 17970871004. For any matter regarding your data, write to hello@scalacore.com.
What data we collect
- The data you enter yourself: name, email address and the message you write.
- A few technical details needed to make the form work and prevent spam: IP address and time of sending. They serve only to limit automated abuse, not to profile you.
Why we process it
For one thing only: to read your request and reply to you. We don't use it to send you advertising, we don't pass it to third parties for commercial purposes, we don't build profiles on you.
On what basis
On your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the one you give by ticking the box before sending. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@scalacore.com: withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out up to that point.
With whom and where
The message reaches us by email. To host the site and deliver the mail we rely on technical providers (hosting and email service) acting as processors on our behalf, under instructions bound to the purposes described here. The data remains processed within the European Economic Area.
For how long
We keep name, email and message for the time needed to handle your request and any relationship that arises from it; then we delete it, unless legal obligations require us to keep it longer. The anti-spam technical data (IP, timestamp) is short-lived and cleared automatically.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us to:
- know what data we hold and obtain a copy (access);
- correct it if it's wrong or incomplete (rectification);
- delete it (erasure) or restrict its use;
- object to the processing or withdraw consent;
- receive it in a machine-readable format (portability).
Just write to hello@scalacore.com. If you think something is wrong, you can also turn to the Italian Data Protection Authority.
